Kane Faucher works mostly in the domain of Deleuzian inquiry and post-Marxism, especially with respect to information theory and big data. He has published several articles on a variety of topics including neoliberalization and technology/labour, phytosemiotics, and Borges. His most recent book is Metastasis and Metastability: A Deleuzian Approach to Information (Sense Publishers, 2013), and his next book is entitled Datapolitik: Between Alienation and the Algorithm, and a co-edited volume on Deleuze and Guattari on Capitalism and the Economy. He is also currently developing articles on crowdfunding, digital narcissism, and online aggression.
Faucher is also a novelist with several books to his credit, most of them involving books, libraries, political economy, and data.
He teaches propaganda and social media at Western University's Faculty of Information and Media Studies (London, Canada)
